1. General

By placing an order with Femme Pétale Flowers (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice.

Prices listed are retail prices. Registered florists and approved wholesale customers will receive their applicable discounts. Wholesale discounts do not apply to gifting items, merchandise, or other products unless expressly agreed to in writing by Femme Pétale Flowers.

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

3. Payment Terms

Retail orders must be paid in full before dispatch or collection.

Wholesale customers operate strictly on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis unless alternative payment terms have been agreed to in writing.

Ownership of goods remains with Femme Pétale Flowers until payment has been received in full.

Due to the nature of our products, no returns or exchanges are accepted on perishable items including, but not limited to:

  • Fresh flowers

  • Seeds

  • Corms

  • Tubers

  • Other live plant material

4. Shipping and Delivery

Fresh Flower Orders

As a working flower farm, delivery is not currently a standard service and availability may vary. Should delivery be required, costs will be calculated separately and communicated before dispatch.

Collection times and delivery arrangements will be communicated directly to customers once collection points and schedules have been confirmed.

Merchandise and Gift Items

Standard courier fees apply to merchandise and gifting items purchased through our online store.

Orders are generally dispatched within 5–7 working days after payment has reflected in our account.

Delivery times provided by couriers are estimates and may vary depending on destination and external factors.

Any delays or unforeseen circumstances affecting dispatch or delivery will be communicated directly to the customer wherever possible.

Risk and Liability

Once goods have been handed over to the courier or delivery service, risk passes to the customer.

Femme Pétale Flowers shall not be held liable for delays, damages, losses, or logistical issues beyond our reasonable control. However, we will make every reasonable effort to assist in resolving any delivery-related issues.

5. Complaints and Quality Assurance

We strive to provide the highest quality products at all times.

Should you not be satisfied with your order, you must notify us by email within 24 hours of receiving the goods, accompanied by:

  • Clear photographs of the product;

  • A description of the issue; and

  • Your order details.

Once all necessary investigations have been completed, we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 5–7 working days.

6. Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Orders cancelled at least five (5) working days before the collection or delivery date may be cancelled without penalty.

The following cancellation fees apply thereafter:

Four (4) days before collection or delivery

A cancellation fee of 20% of the total invoice value will be charged.

This includes reductions to the original order quantity.

Two (2) days or less before collection or delivery

The full invoice amount becomes payable, and no refund will be issued.

We value long-term relationships with our customers and encourage you to contact us should unforeseen circumstances arise.

7. Returns and Refunds

Because many of our products are perishable, refunds and returns are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Approved refunds or replacements will be made at the sole discretion of Femme Pétale Flowers following investigation of the complaint.

No refunds will be issued for products that have not been cared for in accordance with supplied instructions.

8. Product Availability

Flowers and plant products are seasonal and subject to availability.

Should a product become unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with products of similar style, quality, and value, or to contact the customer to discuss suitable alternatives.

9. Force Majeure

Femme Pétale Flowers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions;

  • Natural disasters;

  • Power outages;

  • Transport disruptions;

  • Labour disputes;

  • Acts of God;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Supplier shortages.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Femme Pétale Flowers shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from the use of our products or services.

Our total liability shall be limited to the value of the affected order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
